MERIT and DISTINCTION Task 5: Write up your annotation and your final developed and chosen idea having completed your research activities looking at existing products, formats and audience research use the findings to shape an effective idea.

Task 5b)
Conclusion - how do your research findings develop your idea?
Cover each of  the following ‘finer details’ in your response:
(MERIT) How did what you found out affect the development of your idea?
(DISTINCTION) Define how you will use this in your idea to make you product effective?
Shots, angles and framing
What I found out affected the development of my idea as I had to change my idea and simplify it. I had take out the whole idea which was inspired by the cartoon network ident of the unzipping C and the N

Beat editing will be used o engage the audience and the use of fast pace editing will also be effective.

editing decisions

I realised that i will have to use beat editing a lot as when watching dents i realise that i am automatically thinking that the footage is going to change alongside with the beat, so if this can be implemented in my ident then that will be good

fast pace editing alongside beat editing will be used to keep the attention span of my audience who are 16-25 year olds. This keeps them engaged and are able to understand the full message of the ident .

Costume

Costumes will not be needed in my ident as we are dealing with objects and not human beings but acknowledging the fact that costumes will not be needed says to client that i understand the brief

I will not need costumes as no humans will be involved in my ident. This means that the audience will not seeing any stereotypical style of dressing which will keep them neutral.

locations
studios are normally where dents are made.

I will be using a studio which will have a green screen in it which will add more effect to the ident

Narrative
There is not necessarily a narrative in my ident as i'll be just making the name of urban net.

As i previously said, there is not necessarily a narrative.

Audience feedback, preferences and expectations

My peers thought that they videos where very entertaining. And they all expected the same quality and creativity from me.

I will take on board these comments and try my hardest to ,make them better.

You could be more specific about the finer details in terns of camera shots, materials (Plasticine?) and by location we mean the backdrop for the ident - is black going to be too plain? What will now go in front of the green screen.

You need to document what changes you have made to the original idea.
